Thank you for shopping with Moonlit Scrolls. Every order is packed with care, and we do our best to ensure your books and bookish treasures arrive safely.


PROCESSING TIMES

In-Stock Orders

Most in-stock orders are processed and shipped within approximately 3–5 business days unless otherwise stated on the product listing.

Processing times may increase during:

  • Major sales
  • Holidays
  • Product launches
  • High-volume preorder periods
  • Vendor events or conventions

Preorders & Special Orders

Preorder and specially ordered items are ordered specifically for customers.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Preorders typically ship approximately 3-5 business days after the publisher release arrives to Moonlit Scrolls
  • Publisher release dates may change without notice
  • Delays from publishers or distributors are outside of our control

Orders containing multiple preorder items with different release dates will ship together once all items are available.

If an order contains both preorder and in-stock items, the full order will ship together when all items are ready.

To receive items separately, separate orders must be placed and additional shipping charges may apply.


SHIPPING METHODS

Moonlit Scrolls primarily ships through:

  • USPS Media Mail for books
  • UPS or FedEx for larger merchandise orders, candles, bundles, and heavier packages

Shipping carrier selection may vary depending on:

  • Package size
  • Weight
  • Destination
  • Shipping costs
  • Order contents

Tracking information will be provided once your order ships.


SHIPPING ESTIMATES

Estimated delivery times begin once the order has shipped — not when the order is placed.

Typical U.S. delivery estimates:

  • USPS Media Mail: approximately 2–8 business days
  • UPS/FedEx Ground: approximately 1–7 business days

Please note that these are carrier estimates only and are not guaranteed.


LOCAL DELIVERY

🌙 Moonlit Scrolls may offer limited local delivery within select areas during designated delivery windows.

Local delivery availability may vary based on:

  • Delivery location
  • Order volume
  • Scheduling availability

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information and ensuring availability during the scheduled delivery timeframe.

At this time, regular local pickup is not offered unless specifically announced for special events, vendor markets, or limited promotions.


LOST, STOLEN, OR DELAYED PACKAGES

Moonlit Scrolls is not responsible for:

  • Shipping delays caused by carriers
  • Weather-related delays
  • Customs delays
  • Lost or stolen packages marked as delivered

If your package appears lost in transit, please contact us at moonlitscrollsllc@gmail.com and we will do our best to assist with the carrier claim process when applicable.

If your tracking shows delivered but you cannot locate the package, we recommend:

  • Checking with neighbors or household members
  • Contacting your local post office or carrier hub
  • Filing a USPS, UPS, or FedEx claim

INCORRECT ADDRESSES

Customers are responsible for entering accurate shipping information at checkout.

Moonlit Scrolls is not responsible for orders shipped to incorrectly entered addresses.

If a package is returned due to an incorrect or insufficient address:

  • Reshipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

🌙 Limited international shipping may be available on select items.

Customers are responsible for:

  • Customs fees
  • Import taxes
  • VAT charges
  • Tariffs or additional delivery fees required by their country

International delivery timelines may vary significantly depending on customs processing and carrier delays.
